Tonight I had a great 4 mile run and a really good workout for my arms!
I wish it were June and marathon training was starting! :) I DO NOT enjoy off season!

Hi Amanda, I wanted to email you yesterday but couldn't find your address. I just want you to know that I am praying as you have asked.
ReplyDeleteI pray God would be comforting your heart and giving you great peace of mind. I pray He would refresh you with good sleep and through the reading of His word that He would encourage you through the darker times.Please know we all have them. They may vary from person to person but the Lord gives us all opportunities to lean on Him and have our trust and strength grow deeper.
I will be praying in particular that He will give you people in your life that would encourage you and build you up in Him. None of us really need to be built up in ourselves, as that is a faulty foundation. You are His child who He made specifically and purposely for His glory! There is nothing "messed up" about you. He looks on you with great love in Christ. You are His princess and precious possession. The great God of all delights in you! He will give you grace to endure what He has allowed.
Trials are so hard but the beautiful thing about them is He draws near to us and refreshes us with Himself...with His very presence. I pray this for you, that in light of all the things that are true about you in Christ, the well-meaning but unhelpful comments will fall away in comparison with what you know is true about how God sees you.
I pray God blesses you richly through this hard time.
