Week 3, day 1.
It was an enjoyable run. One of those where I left upset and came back peaceful. I can't tell you how many times while running i disconnect with everything around me and listen to every single word of a song. It changes with my mood. Last night it was about meaningful songs, not booty songs! :)
People sometimes ask me if I been praying or spent time with God lately. I think that's funny! I am a runner. I spend time with him all through out the day and when I run I am all HIS with no distractions. Running has been the time I can hear the Holy Spirit the most.
At times my mind is all over the place but that's when i ask His spirit to speak to me even when I don't realize it. I want to be able to soak up all that He has for me.
Running makes me clean!

I can totally relate to this post! Running is precious time with God and like you say....with no distractions.
