It's a hot week. What's new?!
One thing is new. I am done with the fuel belt with the water bottles! It is a Velcro belt that I ran with at the Austin marathon and it has 4 water bottles. Then I have a belt that triathletes use for gels. I've been having so many issues with my hips ! The fuel belt with water was way too much weight for my hips. So I decided NO MORE! I will continue to use the gel belt because it is VERY light weight and I only use it for long runs.
Sooooooo I went to REI today and got a hand held water bottle. I will have to put water out on long runs so I can refill and next week when I do the 15 miler I will have to have some Accelerade after 10 miles. I think I can leave that at a friends house on my route.
It's a recovery week so tomorrow is 4 and Saturday is 10. Next week is gonna be a killer! Excited!
