She Runs??

Not too long ago I was being introduced to someone by a friend and as they introduced me, they decided to name off things I did in life. It was kind of funny. I heard "She sings. She homeschools. She bakes. She runs." It's always interesting to hear someone else describe you because often what you hear is not really how you feel. FAR FROM IT. But the way this person described me made me feel like someone of significance. Kind of like when you've lost weight and you wonder if anyone has noticed and then they do notice?! And just how hearing them notice makes you feel like a million bucks? :) Does that make sense? :) Well, it made me feel like a million bucks because I would never introduce myself with that kind of grand introduction.

What can I say? It stuck with me. "She runs." It was just a description that made me feel strong. And when I am not feeling strong (sometimes daily), I like to think about that day I heard "She runs."

So there you have it! I still can't get over the fact that SHE really does run.
