Still trying to recover from the marathon. My husband keeps reminding me that it's only been a week and a half. Mentally I am ready to be running 25-30 miles a week again but not physically. My hips are sore and need more time.
5 tonight and lots of weights. More cross training tomorrow. A girl who teaches a one of the spinning classes at the Y chatted with me the night we signed up to join the Y. She's a cyclist. Anyway, I see her when I'm working out but have not done her class yet. They are several instructors. Anyway, she is in incredible shape (VISIBLY in shape) and asked me about the marathon and then asked me if I would consider doing a dualathon with her? She said she hates the running part and needs a strong runner. A dualathon is running and biking. Triathlon is that and swimming. Just in case someone is actually reading this and isn't sure what that is! :)
Of course I told her yes! But I think I will wait to see if she brings it up again! :)
I have met some INCREDIBLE people at the gym! I LOVE IT!
