I'm so excited marathon training is here!! WOO HOO! I love, love, love, love, love training and marathon training is the best!
From now until October 11th, I will be 100% saturated in running and that makes me happy!
This morning I ran my first training run for Chicago. The first week is 3,3,3 and 6 on Saturday. Thankfully I continued running and maintained distance during the off season. In fact, it seems like yesterday was the Austin Marathon. Hard to believe it was back in February!
Lots of ibuprofen, ice baths, ice packs and whole wheat pasta will be in my near future!
This week I will post my MUST HAVES for marathon training!

ReplyDeleteWOW!This is going to be neat to follow from now til October. Excited for you and envy your body of health!!! I am claiming it for myself in the future.. I've come to realize that my thoughts are so much a part of my heath, the words I speak.. LIFE and DEATH are in the power of our tongue. So how many miles will it be in Chicago that you run? You may think 'yeah right' but if I lived near you I'd pay you to my trainer and get this weight off. I am lacking self discipline BADLY!!!
